Why to have a 10 year life goals?

Whether it is a new year’s resolution or a ten-years goal, you need to have your life figured out.

It is necessary to know what you want from life. Ten-year goals will help you understand what you want, where you are headed in life, and how you’ll get there.

Yes, it might seem a bit overwhelming, but it can be quite helpful in the long term as well. If you want to live a remarkable life, always go for extensive ten-years or at least five-year goals rather than just a few resolutions.


Set Meaningful Goals in Life:

Ten years seems like a long time. And you might probably be worried whether you can stick to it or not. Well, if you want to achieve a meaningful life, then ten-year goals are just the right thing to do.


What are Smart Goals?

SMART goals are basically;

S - Specific

M - Meaningful

A - Action Oriented

R - Rewarding

T - Trackable


Since smart goals are meaningful, specific, and trackable, so it becomes easier to emphasize them.

Why are ten-year goals important?


Goal setting is the first step of successful goal achievement. It marks your first step toward success. It’s when you switch from living passively to being an active creator of your life.

  1. Get your journal! Yes, this one is important. I know you will tell me - but I do it all online or on my phone or computer .... blah blah blah. By writing it out, using a pen and your hand, you are more engaged in it and have a better understanding of what you want. I will give you an even bigger suggestion here. have it on you all the time and write any ideas, good or bad, that come into your mind. You will be surprised how many ideas you have. And you never know, one of those ideas might bring you money or success in the future.

  2. Write down all the areas of your life. For example, HEALTH. (Eating Habits, Exercise, and Affecting Lifestyle Choices.), FINANCES. (Income, Budgeting, and Management Skills, Debt, and Mindset.), PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT(Self-Growth: Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual.), CAREER (Making Money, Work/Life Balance, Skill Set, and Advancement Ambitions.), RELATIONSHIPS (Family, Romantic, Work, and Friendships.), SELF-CARE (Resting and Rejuvenating: Mentally, Emotionally, Physically, and Spiritually.), HOME (Where, how big....)

  3. Now start asking yourself questions. Here you can dig as deep as you want and get as specific as you prefer. But here are some questions examples: On this date (10 years from the current year), what does your life look like? What are you doing? Where are you living? Who are you living with? Do you have pets? What kind of house are you living in? What kind of clothes do you wear? What is your home like?

  4. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO DREAM BIG AND UNREASONABLE.

  5. DON'T BE SCARED. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

So, with 10-year life goals, you can envision and picture the life you want. To make it easier, break the goals into short objectives and concentrate on them one by one. This will tone down your anxiety and make achieving the goals easier.
